Greetings, again, from downtown Cincinnati. We are anticipating that this next round of visits to Children's Hospital will continue Colin's winning streak.
With two uneventful flights from Dallas into Louisville, KY and a short ride to Cincinnati, Colin and Daddy will be visiting Dr. Cotton and staff around 9AM tomorrow, Wednesday. At that time, another bronchoscopy will be performed as the first of a series of very routine follow-ups with the ENT staff.
The doctors will be mostly evaluating two specifics; first, the area in which Colin's rib cartilage was placed to ensure it is stable and continuing to take hold. The second area will be the general surgery site looking for any abnormal swelling.
This evening, Colin and Daddy enjoyed a real "Man-Meal" of cheese sticks, french-fries, chicken fingers, and chocolate milk.
Before tomorrow's procedure, Colin and Daddy have a scheduled visit to the Ronald McDonald House to deliver some very special gifts that were brought from Rockenbaugh Elementary.
We continue to thank you for your thoughts, well-wishes, and prayers. It was an amazing experience to come home to Texas and find a gathering a close friends and family who not only supported us while we were away from home, but unknowingly carry us in support each and every day.

I GOT TO SEE COLIN AGAIN!!! He was NOT happy when they put his hospital bracelet on him again either. At that point, he decided he was done playing cars with me & time to sit on Dad's lap. I can't believe how AWESOME he looks thought for just having his procedure less than a month ago! Dan & Nicole you should be very proud!!! So glad to see Dan & Colin again but I'm really missing you Nicole!!!
