After an exhausting day of walking around the B5 West Wing of Children's Hospital, a trip up and down a flight of stairs, plus two trips to the playroom, Colin took full advantage of a well deserved 12 hour sleep last night.
Early this morning, Colin woke before the birds at 4AM, and wanted to get dressed to make his own "rounds," before the doctors did, around the hospital wing. With his Texas Longhorns hat and matching shirt, Colin was off with his newly acquired teddy-bear, which he named Peter.
After two trips around the wing, it was time for the breakfast of a champion, a chocolate donut and peanut butter crackers washed down with a cold drink of milk.
Today, we plan on venturing back to the playroom and spending time with the therapists, just to make sure Mr. Wobbly-Legs is getting his strength back.
The ENT team came visiting this morning, and each visit gets shorter and shorter. The next schedule procedure is this coming Monday, with another bronchoscopy. Once we gain the results and opinions from the surgeons, we will receive what the plan is going forward in the coming days and weeks following.
We thank you for your continued thoughts, well-wishes and prayers.
With Love,
Dan & Nicole
